WWE Elimination Chamber 2025 Results: John Cena Ends Losing Streak With Record-Breaking Fourth Elimination Chamber Victory

The WWE men's Elimination Chamber preceded the main event, in which Cody Rhodes would determine whether to align himself with The Rock.

WWE Elimination: John Cena won his record fourth Elimination Chamber match, defeating CM Punk and tying Triple H for most victories in the history of the match.

The WWE men’s Elimination Chamber preceded the main event, in which Cody Rhodes would determine whether to align himself with The Rock. This created an interesting dilemma, as the Chamber winner would either be a current heel who came back for the main event or a babyface heel turn. Fans thought Rhodes would spurn The Rock’s offer, but there was always the chance that The Rock would discover a champion to battle his wars with Rhodes.

The Elimination Chamber for the men had a hard act to follow after Jade Cargill’s shocking return in the women’s Chamber match earlier in the evening.

Highlights From The Men’s Elimination Chamber

Logan Paul, the biggest heel of all time, emerged first waving an American flag, receiving a chorus of boos from the Canadian audience. Damian Priest then emerged, followed by CM Punk and John Cena, in anticipation of a second encounter between Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre to begin the match.

Rollins, in attire resembling one of the Sonic the Hedgehog characters, entered last. There was a standing “CM Punk” chant for Rollins as he and McIntyre engaged their fight.

CM Punk, always the villain, goaded Rollins as Seth smashed McIntyre’s head into Punk’s pod.

Logan Paul, still in his pod, graffitied it with a tribute to Canadian rapper Drake with the initials “OVO,” to commemorate Drake’s attendance in the audience.

Priest broke out of his pod first, slamming Rollins into McIntyre with a Razor’s Edge. Throughout the evening, fans saw numerous nods to wrestling legends, including Razor Ramon.

Logan Paul finally made his way into the Chamber, taunting the crowd before Damian Priest beat him up for disrespecting Canada.

John Cena then entered next in what was promoted as his last Elimination Chamber match, defeating all of them with his classic moves. He delivered an AA to Rollins and a Five Knuckle Shuffle to Paul.

Cena was followed up by an AA into Paul, but McIntyre reacted with a Claymore Kick onto Cena. McIntyre was disposed of quickly by Priest, who then Frog Splashed Priest with a top rope shot from inside the pod. This probably guarantees McIntyre and Priest at WrestleMania.

CM Punk came out last, taunting Paul with “You know it’s me, MFer.” Punk teased a flying move from the pod before engaging Cena in a staring match, creating a “holy s—t” chant.

Seth Rollins cut in, taunting Cena with “Why don’t you go back and make more movies? His ass is mine! Stay out of it!”

While Cena and Rollins were arguing, Paul intervened. Punk struck Paul with a GTS, leaving only three competitors.

The last three—Cena, Punk, and Rollins—had won 26 world championships between them. The crowd divided into “Let’s go Cena” and “CM Punk” chants, with Rollins being the heel.

Following a Hart Attack by both Cena and Punk on Rollins, Cena and Punk had a match as a tribute to the Hart Foundation. Cena held Punk in an STF, but Punk fought back with an Anaconda Vice. Both competitors broke each other’s finishers.

Punk came close to pinning Cena following a cross-body, but Cena dropped him with an AA for a nearfall, causing a “This is awesome!” chant.

Rollins knocked Cena through one of the glass pods, and he turned his focus to Punk. Rollins slammed Punk with a Pedigree, then a Buckle Bomb and a Stomp, but Punk kicked out.

Cena returned and diverted Rollins’ attention, so both Cena and Punk could land their finishers on Rollins, knocking him out of the match.

Both Cena and Punk kicked out of the other’s finishers—Punk’s GTS and Cena’s AA—but Rollins hit Punk with another Stomp. Cena capitalized, applying the STF to Punk until Punk passed out, winning the match for Cena.

Following the match, Cena and Cody Rhodes had a confrontation, and Cody shook Cena’s hand. But before anything else could occur, The Rock appeared, with a remixed version of his theme song that included Travis Scott.
