WTC Final: Cameron Green Eyes No. 3 Spot After Making A Comeback From Back Surgery

Cameron Green is returning to Test cricket after a long break, and this time he will be chosen to bat in Australia’s squad for the WTC Final against South Africa.

Cameron Green is returning to Test cricket after a long break, and this time he will be chosen to bat in Australia’s squad for the WTC Final against South Africa starting on June 11. He accepts his position of no. 3 in the batting line-up, which he already knows well from his early days playing the game. Green is not currently participating in cricket because he has been recovering from back surgery for many months. Since achieving good results in rehabilitation, the all-rounder will once again represent Australia’s Test team. In the coming World Test Championship final against South Africa, Green will play as a batsman, since bowling in Test cricket is too hard on his body.

Cameron Green’s Statement

“You grow up through your whole career, you speak to anyone here, they’ve definitely batted in the top three or four throughout their whole junior career. I was no different, batting three until you get to first-class cricket. Absolutely no issues batting at three when you’ve done it your whole life,” Green told ESPN Cricinfo.
