With the 2nd season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) kicking off in Bengaluru, the M Chinnaswamy crowd witnessed a star studded night as Bollywood superstars graced the field ahead of the start of the opening encounter between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals.

Here are some of the best bits of the opening ceremony which saw King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan among other celebrities welcome all 5 teams to the tournament.

Kartik Aryan started the proceedings with a spectacular performance to warm up the crowd.

Sidharth Malhotra carried on what Kartik had left off and greeted all the players in the dugout to finally give a mindblowing performance on the night.

Tiger Shroff also took the stage and came up with a roaring performance in front of the crowd and got the crowd grooving on his tracks.

Supporting the UP Warriorz, star Varun Dhawan also danced to his beats on the stage and warmed up the crowd for the final 2 performances of the night as well.

Shahid Kapoor’s entry was enough to raise the heat in Bengaluru as he entered on a bike in his typical ‘Kabir Singh’ persona.

Last but definitely not the least, it was time for King Khan as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan took the stage and was greeted by a huge roar from the crowd. After his iconic dance performance, he then went on to bring all the  5 captains on to the field and pose with them in what can be said the picture of the night.
