New Delhi: Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma shared a encouraging message to the MI’s women’s teams ahead of the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 final. Mumbai Indians Women’s will square off against Delhi Capitals Women’s for the sumumit clash at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.

Ahead of the D-Day Rohit Sharma shared the message to the teams that will boost the girls confidence. Franchise shared the video of Rohit Sharma on their Twitter handle.
“I want to wish our women’s team all the very best for the finals. I’ve really really enjoyed how you’ll have played in the last four weeks. It’s the final, and you don’t get to play a final every day,” Rohit Sharma said.
“So, it’s important to enjoy and have fun at the same time. Enjoy the atmosphere, it’s going to be amazing. We all will be cheering for you. So go out there and give it your best,” he added.

MI camp extend wishes for MIW
Mumbai Indians have won five trophies under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma and now its MIW turn to continue their juggernaut in the final. Apart from Rohit Sharma, a few more MI stars shared their well wishes for women’s camp.
The dashing middle order batter Suryakumar Yadav also wished very luck to the Harmanpreet and Co.
“Mumbai girls are in the finals, in full form. As one family, I would like to wish each one of you all the very best for the WPL final. I look forward to cheering for you. Let’s have a great game this season for one last time,” Suryakumar said.

Mumbai beat UPW in eliminator
MIW brushed out UP Warriorz in eliminator stage by 72 runs. Nat Sciver-Brunt (72* off 38) played a match-winning knock before Issy Wong’s four-wicket haul, including a hat-trick. Mumbai sealed the final date with Delhi Capitals.
