New Delhi: Mumbai Indians (MI) collapsed with the bat against Delhi Capitals (DC), MI posted the target of 110 for Meg Lanning-led side. The trouble started in the 3rd over, when Marizanne Kapp removed Bhatia and Sciver-Brunt off successive deliveries.
Mumbai’s batting performance
In-form batter Hayley Matthews also returned to the pavilion in the next over, thanks to the stunning low catch by Jemimah Rodrigues. Amelia Kerr also departed cheaply, as she edged on to the keeper. Mumbai’s innings sailed smoothly for a while, with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Pooja Vastrakar, but also faded after solid starts.

Issy Wong and Amanjot Kaur, then steadied Mumbai’s ship as Radha Yadav and Jonassen gave out a few bad deliveries.

DC’s superb bowling
For Delhi Capitals, Marizanne Kapp, Jess Jonassen and Shikha Pandey scalped two wickets each. Arundhati Reddy bagged one wicket.
Earlier in the game, DC’s skipper Meg Lanning won the toss and decided to bowl first against Mumbai.
