New Delhi: Team India will miss the service of fast bowler Pooja Vastrakar in the semi-final clash against Australia that will be played on Thursday at Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. Meanwhile, there are speculations if the Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur will play the game or not.
Harmanpreet and Pooja are down with fever
As per media reports, the duo is not well and both are admitted to the local hospitals respectively. Pooja along with skipper Kaur were declared sick on Monday.
The Indian captain was down with fever for the past two days. The BCCI medical team is yet to make a call if she can take part in the semi-finals or not.

Sneha Rana get nod from ICC
Meanwhile, Pooja Vastrakar has been ruled out due to upper respiratory tract infection. Sneha Rana, an right-arm off break bowler, has been approved as her replacement by the ICC.
Harman and Vastrakar are two key players in the Indian set-up and hence, their availability against a dominant team like Australia is important.

Mandhana will lead team India
If Harmanpreet does not get featured in the playing XI then, the star opener batter Smriti Mandhana will lead the team against Australia.
On the other side, Australia will look up to retain their title while having an upper hand against India, especially in World Cup matches where the Kangaroos were up with 3-2.
Australia has also won the T20 series in India by 4-1. In the warm-up match of T20 World Cup, Australia defeated India.
