South Africa and Pakistan are playing against each other in the second Test of the two-match series at the Sahara Park Newlands in Cape Town. Proteas displayed a tremendous performance in the first innings and ended up scoring 615 runs. Ryan Rickelton ended up playing an innings of 259 runs from 343 balls which included 29 fours and three sixes, whereas Temba Bavuma and Kyle Verreynne ended up playing innings of 106 and 100 runs respectively. On the other hand, Pakistan got wrapped up for 194 runs in their first innings courtesy of a stellar bowling performance from the South African bowlers.

The South Africa vs Pakistan Test series has been full of sledging and heated moments whereas the South African bowlers have been often seen sharing some heated moments with the Pakistani cricketers. Such a moment occurred during the Day 3 of SA vs PAK 2nd Test when Wiaan Mulder threw the ball straight back to Babar Azam in his follow through. Babar played a straight drive which went straight to Mulder, however, in the end the Protea pacer threw the ball straight back to Babar and it went to hit his toes. Both the players exchanged a few words soon after incident. The video for the same went viral on the social media.
Babar Azam went onto play a knock of 81 runs from 124 balls which included 10 fours during the second inning. After being wrapped up for 194 runs in the first innings, the Pakistani team is following on and showcased a decent batting approach and finished the second innings at 213/1.
