Ireland beats West Indies

New Delhi: A big shocker is coming from the T20 World Cup. Ireland has defeated West indies by 9 wickets which has led to the elimination of the two-time World Cup winner. Paul Stirling played a match-winning innings and scored 66 runs for Ireland.

West Indies gave a target of 147 runs

Two-time champions West Indies won the toss and elected to bat first. West Indies had given Ireland a target of 147 at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Meanwhile, the Irish team has achieved this victory in 17.3 overs by losing one wicket. With this victory of Ireland, the two-time World Cup winner West Indies has been eliminated from the World Cup.

The captain of Ireland, Andrew Balbirnie gave a great start to the Irish team. He score 37 runs of 23 balls. Following the dismissal of Balbirnie, Paul Stirling came to bat and led his team towards victory.

Stirling remained on the crease and led his team to victory. He scored 66 runs and was not out at the end of this match. Ireland kept pressure on the West Indies  from the very start of the match.
