The Aussie skipper Pat Cummins have been a nightmare for the Indian skipper. Out of the 5 innings that Rohit has been featured in, he took the bait by Cummins and went on to become prey of his deadly fast bowling 4 times which is concerning. Only once have another Aussie bowler managed to dismiss Rohit Sharma and that was Scott Boland during the Brisbane Test.

Young lads like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy who are performing well in the series have to get more opportunities but due to the senior players on the side, the might be dropped from the side. Nitish Kumar Reddy who scored an innings saving ton in the 1st innings of the Melbourne test might be placed somewhere more at the top rather than coming down on the 7th spot.
