Manika Batra has had to miss the sixth UTT tournament because of an injury. The place she holds will be filled by Ayhika Mukherjee on the Ahmedabad SG Pipers team. As a result of an injury at the just-concluded 2025 Table Tennis World Championships, Manika is now in rehab.

With Manika Batra currently undergoing rehab for an injury, Ayhika Mukherjee will replace her in the Ahmedabad SG Pipers squad for IndianOil UTT Season 6.

At the tournament, Alex, who was ranked 46 then (now 47), was defeated by Park Gahyeon (64) in the first round. At the first UTT auction, Manika Batra was grabbed by Ahmedabad SG Pipers when PBG Pune Jaguars let her go. Apart from trying to qualify in WRC3, the Ahmedabad team has Ricardo Walther, SFR Snehit, Giorgia Piccolin, Divyansh Srivastava, and Yashini Sivashankar. Ayhika, who wasn’t sold at auction, is going to have to be exceptional.
