Will Jacks, who was seen in a brilliant form during the 2024 IPL in his campaign with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, has been displaying a much average performance as anticipated. In his campaign with the Indians in 2025, he featured in 11 matches in which he scored just 195 runs, with 53 being his highest score. With the ball as well, he failed to create an impact. He managed to put 7 wickets in the bag for himself in these 11 appearances with an economy of 7.75

In his absence there will room for both Kiwi skipper Mitchell Santner and Corbin Bosch. Santer was given a good hand with the ball and is known for his economical bowling. In the IPL 2025, Corbin Bosch has been able to give impressive performance in a crucial match against Gujarat Titans while playing for Mumbai Indians. He made 27 runs from 22 balls, in which two sixes, one an amazing reverse six, guided Mumbai to recover from a score of 123/7 and post 155/8.
