THIS player can be India’s flagbearer at CWG2022
India ace shuttler PV Sindhu is the hot favorite for becoming the flag bearer. She held the flag high in the 2018 as well and went on to win silver medal in the last edition.
Sindhu recently won the Singapore Open title clinching her maiden BWF Super 500. Last year Sindhu won bronze medal at Tokyo Olympics. Sindhu is world ranked 7th and can become the flag bearer for second consecutive time at CWG 2022.
Chopra talked about his injury and said that he suffered something in his thigh in fourth throw and thus, couldn’t do great in last two throws.
I thought even the fourth throw could have gone farther. After that, I felt something on my thigh and could not do my best in next two. I had strapping (on thigh). I will know the status tomorrow morning because my body is still warm after the event. I hope there should not be any issue for the upcoming events, Commonwealth Games,”
