Rashid Khan’s Wife: Afghanistan’s cricket sensation Rashid Khan has officially embarked on a new chapter of his life, tying the knot at the age of 26. The wedding took place on October 3 in Kabul, following traditional Pashtun customs.
According to reports, the Afghanistan T20I captain married within his extended family. What made the celebration even more special was that Rashid’s three brothers – Amir Khalil, Zakiullah, and Raza Khan also got married on the same day, turning it into a grand family affair.
The ceremony was held at the Imperial Continental Hotel, a prominent venue in Kabul. It was attended by several notable figures, including officials from the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) such as CEO Naseeb Khan, and former captain Mohammad Nabi. Rashid’s teammates Azmatullah Omarzai, Najibullah Zadran, Rahmat Shah, and Mujeeb Ur Rehman were also present to celebrate the joyous occasion.
Following his marriage, Rashid took to social media to share a heartfelt message, addressing speculations surrounding his wife.
“On August 2, 2025, I began a new and meaningful chapter of my life. I had my nikkah done and married a woman who embodies the love, peace, and partnership I always hoped for,” Rashid wrote.
“I recently took my wife to a charity event, and it’s unfortunate to see assumptions being made from something so simple. The truth is straightforward – she is my wife, and we stand together with nothing to hide. To everyone who has shown kindness, support, and understanding, thank you,” he added.
