Who Is Mitchell Owen?
Mitchell James Owen, an Australian cricketer, was born on September 16, 2001. He made his debut for Hobart Hurricanes on January 12, 2021 during the season of Big Bash League 2020–21. He played his List A debut for Tasmania in the Marsh One-Day Cup 2020–21 on February 22, 2021 and appeared in the First-Class debut for Tasmania on 3rd October 2023 against South Australia during the Sheffield Shield Season 2023–24.
On 21 December 2024, Owen played a match-winning innings of 101 not out, which the Hobart Hurricanes used to overpower the Perth Scorchers by eight wickets. In this knock, Owen scored five sixes and nine fours off 64 balls.
