Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli To Focus On Upcoming ODIs and Tests
They will now focus on ODI and Test cricket. Indian fans are curious about how many more matches Rohit and Virat will play for the national team. Some recent updates have provided insights into this.
With the Indian team all set to play the T20 series against Zimbabwe, fans would have their eyes set on the return to action for the iconic world cup-winning Indian duo. The squad for Zimbabwe will consist of only young players who starred in the Indian premier league (IPL) this year.
Both Rohit Sharma Virat Kohli will be playing 5 series for Team india, including 2 One-Day International (ODI) series and 3 Test series. Both batters are also expected to feature in major tournaments like the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy and the WTC Final next year as well.
Rohit and Virat are likely to return to the fray during Team India’s 2-match Test series against Bangladesh in September.
BCCI secretary jay Shah had also mentioned that he wants Team India to win all major ICC events and that the senior players will be part of the campaigns in the coming years as well.
