The India national cricket team will be taking on Australia in the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 at the Adelaide Oval ground in Adelaide from December 6. The Indian team currently lead the five-match series by a margin of 1-0 and they will look forward to extend their lead. However, Adelaide hasn’t brought sweet memories for the Indian team when they played at the ground last time. Team India was blown away for a score of 36 runs while batting in the second innings during the 2020-21 series. The Indian team will now hope to forget all the bad memories and come out on top once again in Adelaide.

The India national cricket team has played 13 Tests as of now at the Adelaide Oval ground in Adelaide. Team India has ended up winning two matches and lost eight. Two matches ended up in draws. The India national cricket team has performed really well at the Adelaide Oval in the past few years. From almost winning the match in 2014-15 to defeating Australia in 2018-19, the Indian team has a lot of positive memories at the ground and they will look forward to maintain the same when they play on December 6.
Apart from Team India, Australia will also have a lot of pressure on them when they will walk on the field to play the second Test. The Australian team hasn’t won a single Test series in Australia after losing the first Test after 1969. They will want to improve on the record and win the match. On the other hand, Team India has won two out of three day and night Tests played and both of them were in India.
