Each team will play 38 matches and there will be 380 games throughout the season. The points will depend on the match outcome – 3 points for a win, one for a draw and no point will be given for a loss. The club that gets the highest number of points will win the English Premier League trophy.

Qualification For European Competitions

The top four Premier League clubs then qualify for the UEFA Champions League. The first three will go straight in the group stage while the fourth team will be entering the playoffs round. The team which comes fifth will earn in a spot in UEFA Europa League while the 6th and 7th go in UEFA Europa Conference League.

The most successful team in the English Premier League is Manchester United and Liverpool as they have won 20 times each. Arsenal comes second with 13 wins followed by Manchester City which is rapidly establishing its dominance and has won 10 titles. The Liverpool FC enters as the reigning champions as they broke Manchester City’s four-year dominance last season.
