India star Cheteshwar Pujara predicts KL Rahul will deliver his best performance against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) during their April 22 match against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) selected KL Rahul as their captain for three seasons of the tournament until they released him before the 18th edition’s mega auction.
The DC team acquired him in the mega auction for Rs 14 Crore and he has delivered outstanding performances throughout the season. The wicketkeeper batter has been in excellent form this season by scoring 266 runs across six innings at an average of 53.20 while adding two half-centuries to his total. Pujara predicted that Rahul would strive to score runs against Lucknow during DC’s upcoming match.

“I think as a professional cricketer you try and move on from what has happened in the past, but at the same time there’s a little bit that always plays in your mind. So this is the team he might be wanting to perform against, but not a lot. I would say that even if it is, it’ll be just 10-20% which might play on his mind, but apart from that, I don’t think he will be thinking too much about performing against LSG,” Pujara said on ESPNCricinfo.
