What is Bazball?
“Bazball” emerged as a cricket terminology in 2022, derived from the nickname “Baz” of Brendon McCullum, who took over as England’s Test cricket head coach. Coined by Andrew Miller of ESPN Cricinfo UK, the term describes England’s distinctive aggressive approach to Test cricket that took shape after McCullum’s appointment alongside new Test captain Ben Stokes, both selected by Rob Key, England cricket’s managing director, in May 2022.
India and England will play their next T20 match on 28 January at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. Tilak Verma played a steady and impactful innings in the last T20I and led the team to victory.
