The wrestler including Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat had reached a wide audience and later resulted in the Delhi Police filing case against BrijBhushan as well.
Who is Sanjay Singh?
BrijBhushan Sharan Singh loyalist Sanjay Singh was earlier the vice-president of WFI which is why wrestlers will not be supporting the decision from the elections. The Wrestlers had earlier stated that any person related or close to accused Brij Bhushan should not be taken into consideration for the post of president. On the other hand, Anita Sheoran, a CWG Gold medalist, had the support of the protesting wrestlers but failed to win the elections by quite a big margin.
