During the first semifinals of the Champions Trophy, 2025 between the archrivals India and Australia, Indian leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav came into the attack during the 31st over and conceded just two runs during the Australian innings, but what caught the attention of the spectators was Rohit Sharma being furious with the left arm spinner.

Why was Rohit furious at Kuldeep?
Although it was hard to interpret what he said but looking at the body language of the Indian skipper, it was clear that he gave a mouthful to Kuldeep in Hindi. On the fifth ball of the 31st over, Australian skipper, Steve Smith flicked, the ball to the deep midwicket, where the fielder threw a hard throw towards Kuldeep at the non-striker’s end, which he let go and Rohit was at the covers saving the ball from offering extra runs from overthrow. He was seen scolding Kuldeep by basically asking him to field the ball. Virat Kohli was also seen furious at Kuldeep leaving the ball.

India in a dominating position
Australia has won the toss and elected to bat first India’s mystery spinner. Varun Chakravarty has already dismissed Travis Head, India’s long-term migraine for every format of the game. Meanwhile, Australian skipper Smith has completed his half century along with Alex Carey at the crease. Smith tries to build up the innings as India holds the dominating position from here.
