During the match between the Kolkata, Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals that took place at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati, a security breach took place which led a fan to enter the cricket ground. This happened after 11 over when Rajasthan skipper Riyan Parag came to bowl his third over while Proteas’ left hand batter De Kock had already completed his half century, Angkrish Raghuvanshi came out as an impact player and was batting alongside him. The fan touched Rihan Parag’s feet and was escorted back to the stands. A security breach is common in IPL and other major cricketing events as fans are eager to meet their favourite players.

RR’s Stumbling Innings
The Rajasthan Royals after losing the toss, sent Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson to the crease. Samson was dismissed early by Vaibhav Arora when he knocked out the leg stump at just 13 runs. Dhruv Jurel was the highest run getter in the Rajasthan dugout with 33 runs. Apart from Dhruv, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 29 runs and skipper Riyan Parag scored 25 runs. none of the other batters could give a hand with the bat which led to the Royals’ innings stumbling.
KKR’s Bowling Does The Job
The KKR bowling attack was outstanding, especially the spinners Moeen Ali and Varun Chakaravarthy. Both Bagged 2 wickets each for themselves. The debutant Moeen Ali spared 23 runs in his four overs spell, while Varun Chakaravarthy displaying his progress as a spinner just gave 17 runs in his four over spell, which led his economy being just over 4. Pacer Spencer Johnson took one wicket while Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana put two wickets in the bag for themselves.
