In their IPL clash on Saturday Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) reached a total of 214 runs through the partnership between Jacob Bethell's 55-run innings and Virat Kohli's 62-run innings along with Romario Shepherd's undefeated 53 along 14 balls.
During his 62-run hit from 33 balls Virat Kohli cleared the boundary six times while also hitting five boundaries. Left-hand batter Bethell produced a stellar performance during his innings which generated 55 runs from 33 balls through his combination of eight boundaries and two big hits that helped create a 97-run opening stand with Kohli.

The outstanding delivery came when Shepherd faced Khaleel Ahmed to hit 33 runs in an over while clubbing four sixes and two fours along with a dot ball which achieved the record for the second-fastest half-century in IPL history. With this he is just behind Yashasvi Jaiswal. He outshone KL Rahul in the fastest IPL half century.
