It seems like the Champions Trophy will be ending based on the weather and not the teams’ competence. Two matches ended with being abandoned in this Champions Trophy. An important match could be the decider for the semifinals of group B which included two powerhouses Afghanistan and Australia, which ended up abandoning due to rain. This led to Australia being the top contender for the semifinals. Almost 30 minutes of rain washed out the newly built Pakistani grounds

Hilarious attempt to clean the ground
A video has been circulating on the internet showing hilarious ways of cleaning the ground. The cleaners were using a big mop to clean the water when one of them slipped while cleaning. We have seen every way of cleaning the ground, be it from using fans to hair dryers and burning haystacks. But this using of toilet mops to clean a cricket ground has left everyone in spits. Former India cricket Abhinav Mukund pointed out it is similar to a sport, curling. The video also shows the Australian dugout being surprised by cleaning the ground with toilet mops and their expressions were caught on camera.

Afghanistan vs Australia summary
Afghanistan while batting in the first innings scored 273 runs with Sediqullah Atal smashing 85 runs which shows his prowess in batting against big teams. In response, the Australian batters went on to chase the total and were in a pretty comfortable position with 109 runs with a loss of just one wicket and Travis Head batting with an intent to chase down the score as fast as possible. But Afghanistan could not be considered as a team to be behind anyone. It defeated two-time finalist England earlier in the group stage where Ibrahim Zadram broke Ben Duckett’s record for the highest score for an individual by scoring 177 runs.
