In the ongoing first test match between India and South Africa at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, India’s premier fast bowler made a bold remark on Protean skipper Temba Bavuma regarding his height.

The incident happened during the 13th over when Bavuma was struck on his pads and when he was consulting with his teammates before going for the review, while talking to the teammates, Bumrah called him ‘Bauna’ which means dwarf. While listening to it, Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant too burst into laughter.

Though Bumrah didn’t directly say it to Bavuma, fans disregarded this slang and commented on Social Media too regarding this matter.

The visiting side were reeling at 86 runs when they lost Ryan Rickelton, Aiden Markram and the Protean skipper Temba Bavuma.
