Pakistan is organizing a tri-nation series with New Zealand, South Africa, and Pakistan itself ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan cricket has released a video in which security officials can be seen at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, conducting a special drill to prevent fans from invading the field during play, but some people on the Internet find it hilarious and consider it to be as irrelevant for a drill conducted to catch fans.

Inspection By ICC of Pakistan’s Stadiums
A dual model for the Champions Trophy 2025 has been adopted by the ICC in which India will be playing its matches in Dubai rest all the other nation’s matches will be played at Pakistan. This has been done due to political tensions between the two nations. Recently the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore was inaugurated by Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif himself.
An ICC delegation also recently inspected the Gaddafi Stadium to assess its readiness for the Champions Trophy’s play. They reviewed important facilities like dressing rooms, pavilions, media boxes, etc. Pakistan will play its first match in the Champions Trophy 2025 against New Zealand in Karachi on 19th February.
Return After 8 Years
The Champions Trophy tournament which is scheduled from 19 February to 9th March has made a return after 8 year long standing. Pakistan is the defending champions. Although all the security measures have been taken, but some spectators praised PCB for taking the initiative in the rehearsal of security measures like catching an intruder and escorting them out of the ground as some fans often disrupt the play to meet and click pictures with their cricketing stars.
