Team India Launch New Stripes
Adidas shared a video on social media showcasing the unveiling event in Dharamsala. The video features India captain Rohit Sharma, along with Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav, observing as a helicopter ascends into the sky adorned with the new India kit.
The recently unveiled kit, as depicted in the video, combines shades of blue and orange. The shirt features orange shoulders, with the rest of the garment being blue. Additionally, there are two parallel orange stripes extending to the waist. The classic three Adidas stripes are presented in white on the new T20I jersey for India.
It remains uncertain whether India will utilize this new jersey in the upcoming T20 World Cup. However, the timing of Adidas’ announcement hints that Rohit Sharma and his team may sport the orange and blue India jersey during the prestigious tournament, commencing on June 2 in the USA and the West Indies.
Team India will begin their T20 World Cup campaign against Ireland on 4th June. All fans will be waiting for the blockbuster clash between India and Pakistan which will take place in New York on 9th June.
