Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, demonstrated his knack for winning over hearts once again. Shah Rukh Khan’s Gracious Reaction After KKR Win IPL

Despite the momentous occasion, Shah Rukh Khan didn’t miss the opportunity to spread cheer among the Chennai crowd by chanting “CSK, CSK” with them. Notably, the final took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, the home ground of five-time champions Chennai Super Kings, who had missed out on the playoffs this season. Despite the absence of CSK in the playoffs, Shah Rukh ensured their fans had a memorable time amidst KKR’s triumph.

“Absolutely comprehensive. This is what we demanded from the team and every individual. They stood up to the right occasion and the feeling is hard to express,” said KKR captain Shreyas Iyer after the game.

KKR had previously clinched the IPL title in 2012 and 2014 before enduring a prolonged trophy drought, which they finally ended this season. Despite SunRisers Hyderabad’s strong performance throughout IPL 2024, their batsmen faltered in both Qualifier 1 and the final. Earlier, KKR had secured their spot in the final by defeating SRH by 8 wickets in Qualifier 1.
