New Delhi: Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant shared a short video clip on his social media handle, Pant could be seen walking slowly inside water in a pool with the help of a stick.

Pant’s latest post on his official Instagram handle shows him taking small steps inside a swimming pool with help of a crutch. “Grateful for small thing, big things And everything in between,” Pant wrote in the caption of video he posted on Instagram.

Recovering from multiple injuries

The 25-year-old cricketer is currently recovering from post a horrific road accident in December last year. Rishabh, had sustained multiple injuries in the accident and was lucky enough to escaped his car in time despite the vehicle caught fire after the accident.

The left-hand batter has been sharing updates on his health with his fans on social media at regular intervals and his latest post shows how he is doing.

Earlier, Pant had also provided an update on his surgery referring to a ligament tear. “I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes,” Pant wrote on Twitter.

“I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thank you to the @BCCI, @JayShah & government authorities for their incredible support,” he added.

India qualified for WTC final

Pant missed the 2022/23 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, held in India, where Rohit Sharma & Co. defeated Australia 2-1. Hence, both sides have now qualified for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final, to be held early June. Pant will miss IPL 2023, WTC finale and possibly the 2023 ODI World Cup as well.
