With the TATA IPL 2025 season about to finish, both Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and their partner JioStar have released a campaign to praise the team’s loyal fans over the past 18 years.
Fans are invited to upload their digital signatures, which are then printed onto the official RCB 2025 season jersey. A crowd greater than a hundred thousand has participated already. Grand Uttappanu got its inspiration from a different attitude: Rather than players getting autographs from the fans, now the players are holding jerseys with fans’ autographs.

Rajesh V Menon, Chief Operating Officer, RCB, said, “At Royal Challengers Bengaluru, our fans are at the heart of everything we do. Their passion fuels our ambition, their loyalty strengthens our resolve, and their spirit defines our identity.”
A JioStar – Sports Spokesperson added, “In this campaign, we’re flipping the script — celebrating the fans who’ve always sought players’ autographs by inviting them to leave their own mark on the RCB jersey. As the team marches along to the Playoffs, we hope this gesture strengthens the bond between the franchise and its most powerful force — the fans.”
RCB is looking to win their first IPL title and hopes the squad swap will help them gain more fans ahead of the playoffs.
The campaign kicks off by showing Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar as they enter and instead of a boy’s RCB jersey, they sign the green streamer. The story takes a different direction when Kohli wants the boy’s autograph, which sends the main message about celebrating the hardcore fans of RCB.
