Super Kings star MS Dhoni was seen riding his vintage bike on the streets of Ranchi, a day after returning to his hometown following Chennai’s exit from the Indian Premier League. Dhoni appeared to take his favorite machine out for a spin to clear his mind after the disappointing defeat in CSK’s last IPL 2024 league game in Bengaluru on Saturday, May 18.

MS Dhoni Spotted In Ranchi
In a video captured by a fan, Dhoni was spotted riding a Yamaha RD 350 bike and entering his residence in Ranchi after the ride. Dhoni and his family had returned to Ranchi from Bengaluru on Sunday, May 19. He was seen leaving the airport in an SUV, with fans trying to catch a glimpse of the CSK star and taking selfies from outside the car.
MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Singh Rawat, shared Instagram stories of their arrival at their Ranchi home on Sunday. Dhoni, Sakshi, and their daughter Ziva were also seen at the Bengaluru airport on Sunday morning.
Dhoni’s passion for bikes is well-known. The World Cup-winning former captain often enjoys rides along the highways in Ranchi. He boasts an impressive collection of bikes and cars at his residence. In a video, former India fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad gave a tour of Dhoni’s two-storied garage.
Dhoni might have played his last IPL match as CSK was eliminated from the playoffs race after losing to RCB. CSK needed to score 201 in their chase of 219 against RCB in Bengaluru to qualify for the playoffs. However, the 5-time champions fell 10 runs short, losing the match by 27 runs.
Dhoni was on strike needing 17 runs in the final over. The veteran finisher hit the first ball for a 110m six but got out on the next delivery. CSK failed to cross the finish line, missing the chance to defend their title.
