D Gukesh and Magnus Carlsen were spotted again at the closing ceremony of the Norway Chess, the iconic stage where India's D Gukesh defeated Carlsen to become the World Champions. Along with them many Grandmasters, including Anna Muzychuk and Arjun Erigaisi were also there. Reigning Women's World Champion China's Ju Wenjun also graced the stage with her presence.

Carlsen’s triumph at Norway Chess for the seventh time will stay with him for a long time, mainly because of the tough fight he had with Gukesh Dommaraju. Carlsen beat Gukesh in round one, yet in round six, Gukesh managed to beat Carlsen for the first time, and this victory won’t easily be forgotten due to the way Carlsen reacted angrily at the end of the game.

Before the final games, four players had a chance to win Norway Chess’s Open section, and everything was almost settled in the final minutes, but Carlsen was the man who achieved the final win. Carlsen won his sixth title in seven years with only a half-point difference, but it was much more convincing than it seems.
