New Delhi: New Zealand’s star batter Kane Williamson departed cheaply in the first Test match being played between New Zealand and England. He was bowled LBW by fast bowler James Anderson, at the Bay Oval in New Zealand.
Kane Williamson knock off quickly
Williamson looked very disappointed after being dismissed. England, who scored 325 runs in the first innings, gave New Zealand 3 big shocks in the beginning. Apart from Kane Williamson, Top Latham and Henry Nicholls were also dealt cheaply.
James Anderson came with the 12th over for England. He bowled the good length ball which changed the fork after falling and went straight to Williamson’s leg. After that Anderson appealed for the LBW, the umpire declared him not out, but team captain Ben Stokes asked for a review, which went in favor of the bowler. Thus Williamson had to return.
