The first Indian player to score half-centuries in all three matches of a bilateral series was Krishna Ramachari Srikkanth, who scored half-centuries in all three matches against Sri Lanka in 1982. India's Dilip Vengsarkar also scored three consecutive half-centuries against Sri Lanka in the same year and he became the second Indian batsman to do so.
Former captain of the Indian team, Mohammad Azharuddin, is in third place, who scored fifty in all three matches of the series against Sri Lanka in the year 1993. India's most successful captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is in fourth place in this case, he scored half-centuries in three consecutive matches against Australia in the year 2019. Shreyas Iyer is fifth in the list of Indian batsmen who have scored half-centuries in three consecutive ODIs, having scored brilliant half-centuries in all three matches of the series played against New Zealand in the year 2020.
