Indian women’s cricket team led by Harmanpreet Kaur registered a historic 8-wicket win in the one off Test against Australia with the skipper pulling off one rare feat during the fourth day.

With the skipper coming to bowl against Alyssa Healy in the match on Day 3, Healy’s defensive shot was followed by Harmanpreet throwing the ball angrily right in Healy’s direction which brought a confused reaction from the Aussie batter towards the Indian captain.

Kaur had even appealed for obstruction to the umpire but was turned down rather quickly.

The video doing the rounds on the internet saw some words being exchanged between the two but what followed after that was special.

With things heating up, the next delivery saw Harmanpreet Kaur send Alyssa Healy back to the pavilion with a brilliant deceptive delivery. Healy got dismissed via leg before wicket as Harmanpreet got herself a wicket to her name.

Kaur had also ended up with impressive figures of 2/23 on day 3 as well.

Kaur’s teammate and another star performer with the ball Deepti Sharma also commended her skipper’s performance.

“Harry di has a golden arm. She always takes a wicket whenever she comes onto bowl,” Deepti told the media after the conclusion of third day’s play.

“She is always ready (to bowl). Everyone was bowling but we needed a magical bowler who could get a wicket since the partnership had lasted for a long time. We also got some momentum,” Deepti added.

Harmanpreet and co. got a 75-run target on Day 4 which was chased down with ease as Smriti Mandhana’s  unbeaten 38 saw the team through the line.
