New Delhi: Pakistan bowler Haris Rauf has amazed the audience when he played against New Zealand on Saturday and showed excellent bowling in death overs. Rauf clinched three wickets in the last overs of the game when Pakistan was chasing the target of 148 runs. 

In the last over, Rauf conceded 5 runs for 3 wickets, proving himself to be one of the most dangerous player. 

Babar Azam played spectacular innings

Babar Azam played a match winning innings for 79 runs and took his team towards the 6 wickets win. Pakistan captain produced a century in bilateral series against England and now, he is proving dangerous for the New Zealand bowlers. In the 2nd T20I against Kiwis, Pakistan made 149 runs in their innings. It had the major contribution on captain Azam who scored 79 runs in 53 balls. 

Azam said ‘I am very happy’ after the win

After winning the game, Azam said, “We have started well in the batting, me and Rizwan planned to utilise the first six overs and also the dew. We have a plan to send him up to charge the bowlers, he played well [on Shadab at 4]. Me and Shadab planned that I play all the way and he will go for his shots. Little bit different because of the dew and the ball is coming on nicely.”

“We are playing very well and as a captain I’m very happy. We assessed the conditions and executed our plans, our bowlers bowled very well. We have some rest now and we will look forward to that,” he added.
