The Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team was eliminated in the first round of the recent T20 World Cup. A shocking loss to debutants USA played a key role in their exit. Subsequently, they failed to chase a target of 120 runs against India in another disappointing performance at the tournament.

‘Conditions favored our bowlers, but we made some batting mistakes against the USA and India. Losing wickets puts you under pressure,’ said Babar at the end of Pakistan’s campaign.
