Australian all-rounder and Melbourne Stars captain Glenn Maxwell gave the commentators in the Big Bash League a moment of laughter as he was seen commentating on the match while he was playing for his side.
In a video that is doing the rounds on the internet, Glenn Maxwell was seen talking to the commentators with a microphone set on his jersey.
Maxwell was heard delivering non-stop jokes during the coverage and that too on his own teammates which kept the viewers as well as the commentators in a good mood.
He was seen talking about his teammates Haris Rauf, Marcus Stoinis etc. and also mentioned how some of his fielders weren’t paying that much attention to the game and relaxing during the game.

Maxwell’s side lost the match to Sydney Thunders by 5 runs but Maxwell’s funny moments kept the match as entertaining as it could get on the day.
Maxwell’s Tour of India
Winning the 2023 ODI World Cup with Australia was Maxwell’s highlight when he toured India recently. His stand out performance came against Afghanistan where he single handedly turned the tie in Australia’s favour by scoring a scintillating double century at the Wankhede Stadium.
Maxwell also featured in Australia’s T20I series against a changed Indian side. India managed to win the series 4-1 courtesy of a good performance by a young Team India led by Suryakumar Yadav.
Australia’s one win in the series came courtesy of a Glenn Maxwell century which steered the team to victory in the 3rd T20I.
