After India secured a victory over Bangladesh in the Super 8 match of the T20 World Cup 2024, Rishabh Pant amused fans with a funny meme on Instagram. The post depicted Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, and Rohit Sharma, iconic figures in Indian cricket over two decades, dancing in a humorous rendition set to a popular Bollywood tune. India had defeated Bangladesh by 50 runs at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on Saturday, June 22nd.

Rishabh Pant enthusiastically shared a screen recording of a fan’s post where AI-generated versions of Kohli, Rohit, and Dhoni danced together in their T20I jerseys to the tune of ‘Barso re megha’ from the movie Guru. Clearly elated by India’s victory, Pant humorously apologized to the senior players, acknowledging their stature, but couldn’t resist sharing the epic video after the win.

“Good win. Sorry saare bhaiya logo ko I had to post this amazing video. Thanks who made this my first screen recording,” Pant captioned the post.

India has effectively secured a spot in the T20 World Cup 2024 semi-finals following a commanding victory over Bangladesh. The Indian team displayed a comprehensive performance after being asked to bat first. Hardik Pandya’s outstanding all-round display earned him the Player of the Match award.

Team India continues their unbeaten streak in the tournament as they advance confidently. Their next challenge will be against Australia in the final Super 8 match on Monday, June 24th, at St Lucia.
