New Delhi: Bollywood and cricket fans will now be able to enjoy an amazing combination of good food, music, and cricket in one place in Mumbai. Star Indian batsman Virat Kholi has converted legendary singer Kishore Kumar’s grand old bungalow ‘Gouri Kunj’ into a restaurant where you can enjoy cuisines, cricket, and cinema under one roof.
‘Gouri Kunj’, once owned by the late great singer Kishore Kumar, will now be known as the ‘One8 Commune’. The restaurant is located in Juhu, Mumbai.
Virat Kohli showed a glimpse of his new venture to fans yesterday on a YouTube video where Kohli can be seen giving a tour to the actor Manish Paul.

In the video, Manish and Virat can be seen sharing their unique food stories. The video is released on the ‘One8 Commune’ YouTube channel.
Asked about the choice of venue, the 33-year-old batsman revealed that he is a big fan of Kishore Kumar. He also sang few lines of Kishore Kumar’s popular song “Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi.”
“His songs have really really touched me. One person asked me who would you like to meet, I would have said Kishore Da always because he was just charismatic.”
Virat also posted some clips of the video on his Instagram handle to inform about his venture.

Kohli posted a video on his Instagram account with the caption, ”Some fun, laughter and lot’s of communing ! Catch the exclusive footage of us showcasing our newest Commune in Juhu, launching on the 8th of October,”.
As per reports, Kohli has leased out the property in Juhu for five years.
Apart from being a cricketer, Virat has other businesses as well, which range from clothing, fragrances, and shoes all under the ‘One8’ brand, which is in association with Puma. He also has invested in another brand named ‘Wrogn’.
This is not the first time when Kohli has ventured into a new business. The former Indian cricket team captain already has chain outlets of ‘One8 Commune’ in Delhi, Kolkata, and Pune.
