Kohli will play at this number under the captaincy of Ayush Badoni
Virat Kohli is all set to play under the captaincy of his junior player Ayush Badoni. Although the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) had earlier offered him the captaincy of the team, Kohli turned it down and decided to play under Badoni’s leadership. According to PTI, Ayush Badoni said that Virat Kohli will bat at number 4 in the match against Railways.
Virat Kohli in search of form
Kohli, who returned to domestic cricket after 12 years, will try to regain his form through this match. Kohli’s performance in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy was very disappointing. He scored only 190 runs in 5 matches and his average was 23.75. However, his fans hope that he will regain his rhythm before the Champions Trophy 2025 and will be seen in his old form once again.
