New Delhi: India won the 2nd T20I against South Africa by 16 runs after competing in a high-scoring game on Sunday. All the 7 batters that came on field for India hit brilliant shots and garnered huge number of runs. KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav hit their respective half-centuries while Virat Kohli missed on it with a very close margin of one run.
Virat Kohli missed on half-century by 1 run
Playing an unbeaten knock at 49, Kohli ran out of ball before he could finish his 50 runs. Despite, being so close to the record number, he was seen gesturing Dinesh Karthik, who was on other end, to keep hitting. The video of the former captain has won hearts of the fans as it shows the selflessness and greatness of the ‘King.’

Dinesh Karthik asks Virat about single for half-century
During the last few balls of the game, Dinesh Karthik was on the striking end and he offered Virat a single for the completion of his half-century but former captain denied. Kohli was seen gesturing to Karthik that ‘you continue your carnage.’

India won T20I series against South Africa
South Africa had won the toss and opted to bowl first. In a high scoring, both the teams had garnered more than 200 runs but the visitors fell short of 16 runs when India won the game. Batting first, India made 237 runs with the huge contributions from KL Rahul (57), Rohit Sharma (43), Virat Kohli (49), Suryakumar Yadav (61).
David Miller and his outstanding knock against India in Guwahati
On the other side, David Miller played an outstanding innings of unbeaten 106 runs in just 47 deliveries to take his side towards the win by it was just not enough. Quinton de Kock had also contributed unbeaten 69 runs in a brilliant chase.
