As Team India finally touched down in India after a delayed return back home from Barbados following their T20 World Cup 2024 triumph, Indian star batter Virat Kohli was surprised to see fans flock to the Delhi airport at 5 AM to greet their heroes.

Virat Kohli Astonished By Huge Turnout At Delhi Airport
A video that is doing the rounds on the internet shows Virat Kohli shocked and hilariously reacting to the number of fans waiting outside the airport to catch a glimpse of the Indian players. Virat was astonished by the turnout and turned to show the same to his teammates while they were sitting on the team bus.
Virat was also greeted by the fans at ITC Maurya where the team is staying before they went to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Virat, who has decided to call it a day in the shortest format of the game for India, had a memorable ending alongside skipper Rohit Sharma. Virat wanted to retire from T20I cricket with a high and that is exactly how he finished an illustrious T20I career which saw him scoring 4188 runs in just 125 matches.
