On Friday Morning police made an arrest of Nikhil Sosale on Friday morning who is the marketing head of the IPL 2025 champions. Police Had Registered A FIR Following Bengaluru Stampede

Karnataka’s Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accepted the very large congregation of people outside the stadium when they had not anticipated a crowd of that size. Police have already registered an FIR against RCB, the event management company and the Karnataka State Cricket Association in this case.

The KSCA denied responsibility for the event and went to the High Court in order to quash the FIR. Social media was full of videos showing people gasping for breath as the crowd lost control. The police have already opened an investigation and will attempt to figure out how the common celebration turned into a horrific event.

There was not much communication from RCB organization on how this celebration was going to take place and this may have partly contributed to the tasteless incident that occurred on June 4. There have been suspensions of various senior police officers, including Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda, and there is a judicial commission in place, which will look into the incident.
