Virat Kohli – A Man For All Ages
Tracking the matches of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Virat Kohli has always been an important figure for the team, delivering quality in every season he has been part of the franchise. With Kohli’s side playing in the IPL 2024 eliminator against Rajasthan Royals on the night, he needed just 29 runs to reach the special milestone.
Batting against the formidable bowling duo of Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma, it wasn’t an easy task to tackle the new ball coming from either of the two pacers at the Narendra Modi Stadium on the night. However, Kohli’s form backed him up as he tried to put the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in a strong position bating first in the encounter.
Virat Kohli is having another incredible IPL season so far and is currently the orange cap holder of the tournament as well. If Bengaluru reach the final, he will have a potential 2 matches added to his season which can see him breach the 1000-run mark in a single season as well. His current record of 973 runs in 16 matches that he set in 2016 can be surpassed if the Indian star continues to bat the way he has been doing in the tournament for RCB.
