Viral Video: Virat Kohli’s life in India is anything but serene. Although he cherishes his time there, he often feels compelled to spend more time abroad due to the inappropriate behavior of some fans. A recent incident in Mumbai unfolded when a throng of admirers surrounded him, desperate for selfies, which forced Kohli to request that they clear a path for him.
A video that quickly went viral on social media captures Kohli’s evident frustration as he attempted to board a ferry to Alibaug. He can be heard expressing, “Bhai, mera raasta mat roko” (Brother, don’t block my way), while gently pushing aside a fan to navigate through the crowd. This encounter recalls the challenges he faced earlier in his career, including a recent dining outing with his wife, Anushka Sharma, that attracted undue attention.

Meanwhile, discussions about Kohli’s potential return to red-ball cricket through the Ranji Trophy are gaining momentum. The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) has placed Kohli and Rishabh Pant on a list of probables, although their participation remains unconfirmed. A senior DDCA official articulated, “While Kohli and Pant were included as probables at the beginning of the season, we have yet to receive confirmation of their availability for the next match.”
The official questioned the rationale behind Kohli and Pant playing red-ball cricket right now, particularly since India’s next Test match isn’t set until June. “It would certainly benefit the Delhi team, but I struggle to see how participating now would aid Kohli and Pant when no Test cricket is imminent,” the official concluded.
