Shreyas Iyer smashed a ton against Karnataka in just 50 balls and led a massive total of 382 runs for just 4 wickets in the Vijay Hazare Trophy one-dayer at Motera in Ahmedabad on Saturday. The Mumbai captain delivered a spectacular batting display, smashing an explosive 114 off just 55 balls with 10 towering sixes, maintaining an impressive strike rate of 207. The innings was well supported by substantial contributions from his teammates, with Ayush Mhatre scoring a solid 78, Hardik Tamore contributing 84, and Shivam Dube remaining unbeaten on 63. Mumbai’s dominance in the air was evident as the team collectively struck 21 sixes during their innings.

The bowling side struggled to contain Mumbai’s aggressive batting, with spinner Pravin Dubey managing to pick up two wickets and Shreyas Gopal claiming one.
