During the T20 World Cup 2024 match against the United States on Thursday, Pakistan cricket team batter Azam Khan got into a heated exchange with a fan after being dismissed for a golden duck.
Struggling with his form recently, Azam was trapped LBW by Nosthush Kenjige for 0. As he walked back to the pavilion, Azam displayed animated expressions and even glared at a fan. While a picture of the incident went viral, the exact cause was unclear.
Meanwhile, Azam, who is the son of former Pakistan captain Moin Khan, faced severe criticism on social media, with many users highlighting the issue of ‘nepotism.’

Earlier, Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam top-scored with 44, and Shadab Khan added 40.
