Uttarakhand Premier League 2024: Dehradun Dabang defeated Nainital Ninjas by 37 runs. Batting first, Dehradun scored a strong score of 196 runs. In this, the Nainital team could score only 159 runs after losing 9 wickets within 20 overs. This is the first win of Dehradun Dabang in this season.
Nainital Batters Disappointed
Nainital team, which came to chase the score of 197 runs, had a bad start and Priyanshu got out after scoring 6 runs. Whereas, Avnish made 33 runs in 22 balls. Nainital’s innings fell apart after his dismissal. The team lost five wickets at the score of 70 runs only. Then, Pratik Pandey tried to take the team home by scoring 57 runs in 32 balls but failed. Satyam Baliyan took 2 wickets for 36 runs in 4 overs for Dehradun. Apart from him, Deepak Kumar took 2 wickets for 34 runs in 4 overs.

Sanskar Rawat Created Storm
Dehradun side started well as they batted first. Openers of the team, Sanskar Rawat and Vaibhav Bhatt gave a great opening to the team. Both of them added 64 runs for the first wicket. He was dismissed at just 22 runs from the bat of Vaibhav Bhatt.
In this match after his dismissal, the charge of team was taken by the duo Anjaney Suryavanshi and Sanskar Rawat. They both presented an alliance of 68 runs for the second wicket. In this process, Sanskar Rawat played a match of 73 runs in 51 balls. In his innings, he scored 5 fours and 5 sixes. At last Dikshanshu Negi played a match of 38 runs in 15 balls, and it resulted the team to 196 runs.
