The USA cricket team has scripted history once again. They’ve not just secured a place in the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup 2024 but also have qualified for the upcoming 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka. This means the US team will now play cricket in India.
The USA versus Ireland match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled for Friday (14 June), was canceled due to rain and a wet outfield. As a result of the cancellation, USA advanced to the Super 8 stage. Simultaneously, Pakistan was eliminated, along with Canada and Ireland, ending their chances of reaching the Super 8.
